Our Operations
Drug Fighters & Counseling Centre main areas of operation namely;
CHILDREN RESCUE AND REHABILITATION CENTRE
At the core of DFC work, our main programme seeks to rescue and rehabilitate children majority of whom are orphans and vulnerable children. We aim to improve the children lifestyle by providing a conducive and friendly environment in which the young get an opportunity to grow away from drug and substance use.
PROVISION OF EDUCATION
DFC works tirelessly towards bringing up children holistically through providing physical, emotional and spiritual nourishment. At the centre besides rescuing and rehabilitating, DFC has a primary school that runs from baby class to class eight. DFC has taken the responsibility to educate the young by proving education both primary as well as supporting them even in secondary school. The centre has a feeding program for the children and provides counseling to those in need.
CHILD ADVOCACY & YOUTH PROJECT
DFC works to sensitize the community on children’s rights to raise responsible and resourceful youth in the community from drugs. We have a youth group of 30 youths who reach out to the other youths who are into drugs and bring them for counseling and rehabilitation.
DFC SUSTAINABILITY
DFC bought a farm in Naivasha that seeks to provide food for the centre as well as become the income arm of the centre for its future sustainability. DFC seeks to engage in agribusiness for growth and sustenance of the centre and its beneficiaries. Women & Youths income generating activities & products
